Recharge Abilities
Monster abilities can have usage limits and recharge conditions. The system automatically extracts these from ability names written in a specific format.
Ability Name Format
Section titled “Ability Name Format”Abilities with usage limits follow this Markdown pattern:

- When/how it recharges
Supported Recharge Patterns

**_Acid Spray (Recharge 4-6)._** The creature spits acid...When the ability is used, roll a d6 at the start of each subsequent turn. The ability recharges if you roll within the specified range.

- Extracts abilities from monster action text
- Tracks usage during combat
- Handles recharge rolls for “Recharge X-Y” abilities
- Resets uses at appropriate times (turn start, rest, etc.)
Recharge Types

- Use exact formatting - The parser looks for specific patterns like
